Best Western The Gables Hotel ‘veges out’ for National Vegetarian Week!
In May, we invited customers to ‘take the challenge’ once again and go meat-free as part of National Vegetarian Week, which ran from 18th – 24th May.
Now in its 23rd year, National Vegetarian Week is organised by the Vegetarian Society to promote inspirational food and the benefits of a meat-free lifestyle.
To celebrate National Vegetarian Week, diners at The Gables enjoyed a different vegetarian dish every day in the Brasserie & Bar such as artichoke, red onion and rosemary risotto or vegetable bean chilli with rice and freshly prepared salad.
Head Chef, Stuart Carter commented “National Vegetarian Week is a fantastic opportunity to ‘take the challenge’ and try going meat-free for a change. At The Gables we take great pride in producing a variety of creative and tasty vegetarian dishes that meat eaters will enjoy too, so we hope our special offers will encourage more customers to give our vegetarian dishes a try.”
