The Berkeley Brasserie
The stylish Berkeley brasserie is a great place for an evening of good food with friends or colleagues in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The new menu is inspired by the famous brasserie tradition of classic contemporary cuisine cooked from high quality locally sourced ingredients at affordable prices. There are some mouth watering choices on offer including starters such as Gloucester gammon hock terrine and fresh mussels steamed in a white wine, garlic and parsley broth. Main courses include breast of Nailsea chicken stuffed with roasted peppers, mozzarella and basil served with fondant potatoes, turned vegetables and a honey and mustard dressing, and who could resist Chef’s red berry Knickerbocker Glory or hot chocolate fondant with fresh raspberries and Chantilly cream for dessert?
The Berkeley brasserie is open Monday to Saturday from 6.30pm until 9.45pm and on Sundays from 12 to 4pm and from 6.30pm to 9.30pm when a traditional carvery roast is served. The restaurant is also open on Monday and Friday lunchtimes for great value Senior Citizen’s lunches!

The spacious bar with its big comfortable sofas and secluded corners is the place to relax and enjoy a morning coffee, bar snack or afternoon tea. There's a wide range of real ales on offer and the extensive menu is available from 11am to 9pm daily.
