Welcome to The Gables Hotel where our aim is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We are a family-owned and run hotel and part of Best Western GB. All Best Western hotels are independently owned and operated.

You will find the many services we provide outlined below. However, if there's anything you need please do not hesitate to contact the Reception team.

Useful Information

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in our restaurant, which is situated just off the bar, where you can help yourself to the Continental and full English buffet.

Breakfast Opening Times

Monday to Friday | 7am to 9.30am (continental option from 6.30am)
Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays | 7.30am to 10.00am (continental option from 7am)

Breakfast is £14.50 if not included in your room rate.

If you would like an express breakfast, please speak to Reception.

Check Out Times

Please note check out is 11am and please remember to deposit your key card at Reception before leaving the hotel.

Room Servicing

Your room will not be serviced during your stay, however, if you do wish housekeeping to refresh your room we will be more than happy to do so - please let Reception know the night before you require servicing. Replacement tea tray items and fresh towels are available - just ask at Reception.

Bar Opening Times

The bar is open every day until 11pm. 

Credit Cards

All major credit cards accepted including Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Electrical Fans

Please contact reception for an electrical fan. 

Emergency Healthcare

For urgent medical healthcare that isn't life threatening please dial the free NHS number 111.
The nearest hospital is Thornbury Hospital which is 4 miles away.

Fax and photocopies

Available from Reception for 10p a sheet

Internet Access

Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas and bedrooms. The password is gables2007

International Plug Adaptors

Available for loan from Reception.

Luggage Assistance

For help with your luggage or to store luggage please contact Reception by dialing "0".

Meeting Rooms

If you are interested in holding a meeting or private dinner here, a member of our team will be happy to show you the various rooms we have available. The largest is the Bristol Suite which has a private bar and caters for up to 200 guests.

Morning Wake Up Calls

All bedrooms have alarm clocks. We also offer a Morning Wake Up Call. Please contact Reception to arrange.

Reception Staffed Hours

Our reception team are available from 7am until 10.30pm. Out of these hours there is a Night Porter who can assist you. Front doors are locked at 11pm; your key card will unlock the doors after this time.

Dining Options

During your stay I hope you will be able to enjoy a meal in  Marco's New York Italian. Open every day from 5pm to 9pm. 

Safe Deposit

Availability: Items of high value should be offered to Reception to deposit in the main safe and a receipt will be issued.

Toiletries

Complimentary toiletries (shaving kits, toothbrushes, toothpaste and shower caps) are available at Reception. 

TV Channels

Bedroom TVs have access to all Freeview channels. Please press guide on your remote.

Laundry

Laundry bags are available from Reception. .
