We are delighted to announce that our hotel will reopen from Monday 15th June for key workers and in early July for all other guests (subject to Government advice).
The welfare of our guests and our team is always our first priority, so when you are able to visit us again, you can do this feeling assured that we have in place all the precautions to minimise the spread of Covid-19 and keep you safe.
What To Expect When Staying
Although elements of our service will be different, we are committed to making sure that our teams are well-equipped, well-trained and as ever ready to provide a warm Gables welcome.
When You Check In – we will be minimising contact with screens at our reception desk; your room key card will already be sanitised and in an envelope for you to collect; we encourage payment by card; and for you to observe any one way systems and a 2m social distancing space from any other guests not in your party and our team.
In Your Room – we have removed soft furnishings and some toiletries to minimise contamination and only one towel per person provided (more can be requested). Please note that your room will not be serviced if you are staying for more than one day. All of our rooms are not let within 24 hours of each stay. All areas of your room including hair dryers, remote controls and switches will be deep cleaned and sanitised before your stay.
Breakfast – we are offering a cooked plated breakfast which you can request in our Restaurant and choose to eat in our Restaurant, Bar or in your room.
Dinner – from 15th June we will be offering a choice of delicious evening meals for key workers as well as sandwiches. When the hotel reopens fully in July a more extensive menu will be available. You can order your meal by calling Reception and we will call you when it is ready to collect from our Restaurant. You can choose to dine in our Restaurant, Bar, on our terrace or in your room.
Our Team – staff will be temperature checked each day and will be provided with any PPE they need. They have also undergone additional Covid-19 training to ensure hygiene, safety and cleanliness is the top priority – as well as making sure our guests feel comfortable and welcome in these new measures.
Extra Cleaning – all areas of the hotel will undergo deep cleaning and key touch point areas will be sanitised thoroughly and regularly. There will be additional signage to reassure guests of our procedures.
