It’s the little things
Stayed here in January whilst visiting my son who lives close by. Had to unexpectedly stay again as I broke my leg whilst visiting my son again in March. The staff could not do enough for me, my husband and his guide dog, Gus. Every day when we went to breakfast, the ladies who service the rooms ensured that our room was serviced so that it was ready for us to use again after breakfast - without asking. They even made the dog's bed each day! Upon arrival, there was a clean dog bed, dog bowls and dog biscuits! The manager who was always present at breakfast ensured that we had the same table which was close to the buffet breakfast and he made and carried our morning coffees to the table to make things much easier for us. Again, all of this was carried out without us having to ask and as the title suggests - "it's the little things" that make a difference. The ladies behind the reception were a credit to the hotel, always professional, friendly and courteous and the bar staff on duty serving drinks and food in the evening were also very friendly and professional. A very pleasant stay, albeit the circumstances were unexpected and I wouldn't hesitate in booking this hotel again. Thank you so much.
